Sandbach bird watcher shares photographs to mark the start of a new month

Happy 1st March and St David's Day to all our readers!

It's the first day of the new month and Spring is in the air.

What better way to start the new month than some photos from avid bird watcher, David Harrison?

Retired engineer, David, from Sandbach is a member of the RSPB and also supplies information to the South Cheshire Ornithological Society.

"Birds which used to migrate during the winter are now staying here as winters are getting milder," says David.

The whole pattern is changing due to the climate and development of areas with housing."
