An artisan butcher who opened a business inside Sandbach market hall has launched a new-look website and a next day delivery service with a certain radius.

Lee Ashcroft has launched a fully revamped website for The Butchers Blade here, bringing the butcher's counter's knowledge and personal service into customers' homes.

Launched on Monday (26 October), the website offers next-day delivery within a five-mile radius of the shop and same-day collection, making it easier for local households to shop with the independent business.

Alongside online ordering, the website helps customers tackle one of everyday life's most familiar challenges: deciding what to cook.

With meal planners, suggested meat portions per person, cooking advice, and pairing recommendations, the website draws on Lee's expertise to help customers plan meals, choose suitable cuts, and feel more confident in the kitchen.

Lee Ashcroft, owner of The Butchers Blade, said: "When customers come into the shop, we often talk about more than what they want to buy. They ask how much they need, the best way to cook a particular cut, and what would go well with it.

"We wanted the website to offer that same support. It's somewhere people can order their meat, find inspiration and get practical advice that makes preparing a meal feel easier."

Suggested portion sizes help shoppers judge how much meat to buy for the number of people they are feeding. Cooking advice helps them approach unfamiliar cuts with greater confidence, while tips and pairing suggestions provide ideas for building a meal around their chosen meat.

For busy households, the meal-planning features offer a way to organise dinners ahead of time and introduce more variety into the weekly routine.

Lee added: "It's easy to fall into the habit of cooking the same meals every week, especially when you're busy. Sometimes a suggestion from your butcher is all it takes to try something different.

The launch also gives customers more flexibility in how they shop. Those within the five-mile delivery area can order for next-day delivery, while same-day collection allows shoppers to order ahead and collect from the Market Hall.

The new service marks a further step for the independent business, making traditional butchery expertise more accessible to customers across Sandbach and the surrounding area.

Lee said: "We're proud to be part of Sandbach's independent shopping community. Working with another local business on the website has made this a particularly rewarding project.

"Whether someone comes to the counter, collects an order or has it delivered, we want them to feel they have a local butcher they can rely on for good food and helpful advice."
