The sun shone and the music blasted out for a Sandbach care home's summer fair.

Crowds flocked to Elworth Grange yesterday (Sunday) including Sandbach Mayor, Councillor Ann Nevitt and the town's newest councillor, Sandrene  Wright.

Stalls galore and a steel band and a ukelele band plus a bouncy castle for the children were just some of the activities on offer.

Rachel McIntosh, the Home Manager at Elworth Grange, in James Brindley Drive off Booth Lane, said: "Community is a huge part of our home.,

"There was something for everyone. We even had a stilt walker and a bubbologist. It was a great day and everyone enjoyed themselves."

The home is offering four weeks of respite care for the price of three throughout August, so you can get a taste of life at Elworth Grange at a reduced cost. There website is here
