A Sandbach care home has scored top marks in reviews from residents and their families.

Elworth Grange residential and dementia care home, on Booth Lane, has been voted 10 out of 10 on care home review website, carehome.co.uk.

The score, which is awarded from reviews submitted by residents and their families and friends, is based on 17 positive reviews.

Elworth Grange opened its doors in June 2020 and has since become home to many local older people.

The carehome.co.uk reviews have been submitted from residents and their relatives and each one would recommend the home to others.

The website is often used as a tool for prospective residents and their families when choosing a care home and many of Elworth Grange's reviewers rated them 5 stars across all categories including overall standard, care and support, treated with dignity, activities, food & drink, staff and management and value for money.

One review said: "The wonderful staff at Elworth Grange have gone out of their way to help mum get settled into the home. The activities are so clever and look to be so much fun. The food looks fabulous and I love the two new additions – the pet budgies. I simply cannot thank the staff enough for all that they do."

Another reviewer commented: "One word: fabulous. This care home is absolutely brilliant. If anyone wants is thinking about the care of a loved one, this is the place to make sure they are safe and well looked after. The most important thing is my mum's happiness and well-being, it's all taken care of here."

Home Manager, Donna Cowell, said: "The score on carehome.co.uk is testament to the dedication of our whole staff team and we are very proud to achieve 10 out of 10.

"The fact that all reviews are submitted by our residents and their families makes this even more significant and we want to thank everyone who has taken the time to submit a review for our home. This just goes to show that Elworth Grange really is a great place to live and work."
