Fiona Bruce MP, whose constituency includes Sandbach, has thanked all volunteers at St Luke's shops and at the two hospices for their hard work during 2022.

Fiona is Vice President of St Luke's which has a day care hospice, Winterley Grange in Winterley near Sandbach.

She said: "Wishing everyone in my constituency a very peaceful Christmas, and thanks to all volunteers, and in my role as Vice President of St Luke's, a particular thanks to all their volunteers both at the hospice and at the local St Luke's shops."

And Sandbach resident and volunteer at St Luke's Sandbach shop, Pat Arnold, found herself once again in the news with the launch of the MP's Christmas message to volunteers.

Sandbach Nub News featured an "Up Close" article on Pat and her work at the Sandbach shop in Congleton Road.
