It's Remembrance Sunday this weekend and residents in the town and outlying areas will be coming together to pay their respects for fallen heroes.

In Sandbach town centre, the parade will march from Westfields in Middlewich Road with Roberts Bakery Band leading the parade followed by a two minute silence at Sandbach War Memorial.

Lions Brass Band will be on the Market Square at 10.20 am. The traditional service will take place after the two minutes silence at 1.15 am at St Mary's Church.

Last year, a big crowd gathered in Sandbach's Market Square to take part in the traditional Remembrance parade service.

As last year, Roberts Bakery led the parade which began at Westfields in Sandbach before marching to the War Memorial in Market Square.

Lions Brass Band was in the Market Square as they will be this year.

The Remembrance Day service at St Mary's featured prayers and hymns plus readings and the laying of the wreath below the Standards in the church.
