A Sandbach couple are heading off on a romantic getaway to Devon – thanks to Nub News!

Project manager, Erin Jackson, from Sunnymill Drive, won Nub News' competition for a break to the wonderful Dolls House luxury holiday cottage on the Trafalgar Barton estate.

The 39-year-old mother-of-two, a keen follower of Nub News' Sandbach site, said she was amazed to win as she doesn't normally win anything.

"It's a great prize and will give us chance to get away together and have some quality time together," said Erin, who works for a healthcare company and also volunteers for a charity.

"We're so excited and looking forward to our prize. It looks like a wonderful place to stay."

Erin, whose children are aged four and 18 months, is heading off on her romantic getaway in May with husband Scott.

"We love Sandbach Nub News. It gives us the local news and is impartial with great feedback. It's the residents' voice," said Erin who moved to Sandbach about 10 years ' ago.

"We love the town and all the great facilities it has. It's a wonderful place to live and bring up a family."

Nub News ran a competition across all its sites in January with the chance to win a stay at the Dolls House, a luxury holiday cottage.

Set among the rolling hills of East Devon, with views over the Jurassic Coast, The Dolls House is one of three stunning properties on the estate in the beautiful Branscombe area.

For readers not lucky enough to win the prize, this cottage can be booked through Classic Cottages with this link here

There are also two bigger properties on the same estate – The Coach House here and Trafalgar Barton here

Nub News wishes Erin and Scott Jackson a very happy holiday.
