Local Albion cattle were among those on show at the Royal Cheshire County Show at the weekend.

The annual event is usually held over two days and was cancelled last year due to the Pandemic but this year it made a return in the form of a one-day show.

Cattle kindly loaned from Lynn House Farm in Betchton Sandbach were among those on show at the event which included a sheep show as well as the popular Cheshire Farmer's Market.

The event, held at Tabley near Knutsford, is a celebration of Cheshire farming and activities and crafts from the local countryside. It is organised by the Cheshire Agricultural Society.

A spokesman from The Royal Cheshire County Show said on their twitter account: "What a day! The Cheshire Agricultural Society would like to thank everyone who attended our first ever one-day show and made it such a fantastic success.

"With what has been an undoubtedly difficult time to plan an event, we thank you all for your patience and understanding."
