Sandbach: Motorists fined for parking near junctions

Police in the Sandbach area have issued a warning about parking near road junctions after several vehicles were given tickets today.

Sandbach, Elworth & and Brereton Rural Police say an officer on foot patrol in the Elworth area this morning issued "a number" of parking notices to vehicles parked within 10 metres of a junction.

A twitter feed from them said: "This is a hazard as it reduces visibility for other motorists and pedestrians."
