Sandbach motorists warned to take extra care on the roads following snowfall

Police are warning motorists in Sandbach to take extra care today (Wednesday) after snowfall overnight.

They are urging motorists to ensure their vehicle is clear of snow BEFORE setting off and to drive to the conditions of the road.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Make sure your vehicle is fully cleared of snow and ice, leave more space between other vehicles and drive to the conditions."

Please take care on the roads today.
