A voluntary and community led organisation working with local groups is holding its annual general meeting next week.

Sandbach Partnership, formed around 19 years ago, is holding its AGM at Sandbach Enterprise Centre in Wesley Avenue on Monday (February 28th) at 3pm.

Sandbach was one of sixteen towns in the North West involved in the Market Town Initiative Fund which was allocated to support rural recovery.

The aim of the funding was to set up a voluntary partnership supported by a full-time officer to deliver a plan with suitable projects to access the funding.

Sandbach Partnership was born and since then has been involved behind various initiatives including the Sandbach Tree of Light, Sandbach Partnership Youth Forum, Spooky Saturday and the recreation of the Friends of Sandbach Cemetery.
