Sandbach restaurant to reopen at new premises after £1 million makeover

Raffaele, owned by Alessio Serra and Salvo Capasso, is opening this week in its new-look premises in the centre of Sandbach - the the former Crown Hotel and Saxon Grill in Market Square, Sandbach.

The popular restaurant, which was based in Hightown, has located to bigger premises so it can serve more customers, better cater for functions and continue to flourish.

The move will allow the business to grow and will offer expanded dining options in the newly renovated and extended building.

"We're working hard to provide a unique setting for the restaurant to grow and continue to serve our loyal customers." said a spokesperson.

The new premises will feature formal and casual dining areas, dual aspect fireplace, and large veranda extension with a glazed elevation leading to an outside courtyard dining area, offering flexible and al fresco dining options year-round.

The upper floor will accommodate a private dining and function room suite.

"We will continue our relaxed modern bistro-style with an emphasis on quality food offerings combined with our friendly customer service," they added. The restaurant will be recruiting additional staff to reinforce the Raffaele team.

An updated menu will feature favourite dishes together with new and exciting options, all accompanied by a 100-strong wine list featuring Italian organic wines and freshly blended barista coffee will be served.
