Motorists faced delays on Tuesday 20 October on Crewe Road, which was closed for several hours following an incident.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "At 1.40pm on Tuesday (20 October), police were called to a collision on the A534 Crewe Road, Sandbach.

"Police attended and found there had been a collision between a car and a truck. There were no reports of any serious injuries, but the road was closed while officers dealt with the incident. The road reopened at 4.10pm."
