Sandbach: scarecrow trail through the eyes of a child

Four year old Dexter Abbotts had plenty of fun when he followed Haslington Scarecrow Trail around Haslington and Winterley near Sandbach.
It is the first time Haslington has done a scarecrow trail.
There are over 60 displays dotted around the village and a map is available to download for a small fee. All money will go to the Haslington Support Group. Dexter's mum. Abbie Bateman, also had plenty of fun walking round spotting different scarecrows including a pirate, a police officer, Mary Poppins and a newlywed couple. She said: "It to see the different outfits. Dexter loved them all and we used this as a counting exercise as we walked around." The trail opened on Saturday and is on until Friday.
