Sandbach School are hoping to elevate their school lunch game.
The school, of Crewe Road, have applied to Cheshire East Council for a new temporary dining hall, in a retrospective application.
They have tasked Sandbach architecture firm Daniel Matthias Architecture Ltd to help deliver confirmation of the project.
The 542 square metre site will have insulated panels on the walls, industrial grade flame retardent PVR cover in the roof, and silver aluminium finished windows, should plans get the go ahead.

A planning document states: "The Lemon Refectory is critical in providing dining space and shelter for students until new dining facilities are provided as part of the school re-building program."
"The school re-building program will replace and/or refurbish a number of the schools dilapidated buildings including an existing dining hall which is of RAAC construction.
"The temporary Lemon Refectory is situated a significant distance from the boundary of any neighbouring properties and screening planting has been implemented to further lessen any visual impact."
When contacted for further comment, Sandbach School said: "This is an application for retrospective permission for a temporary structure so that the dining space can remain in situ longer until building works take place to provide permanent accommodation.
"Without this space a large number of pupils would have nowhere warm and dry to eat at break and lunch."
Sandbach residents can view the plans on this link.
Sandbach School has 1504 pupils, above the capacity. And according to GOV.UK, 148 of these are eligible for free school meals.
