Sandbach Town Council advertises for new councillor

Sandbach Town Council has a vacancy for a councillor in its Town Ward following the resignation this week of Councillor Sue Ashcombe-Hurt.

No statement has been issued but it is believed the resignation comes for "personal reasons".

Five councillors serve Town Ward – the four others are Cllr John Beddows, Cllr David Jack, Cllr Steve Kirkham and Cllr Alan Smith.
