Sandbach Town Council is celebrating an 'amazing' show for this year's Party in the Park event.

The show, which took place on Saturday 13 June in Sandbach Park, featured live music from Rock Choir Sandbach, Sandbach School Band and our town's very own Foden's Band.

There were also family-friendly activities such as face-painting, a Punch and Judy show, a toy stall, and more.

Proceedings were officially opened by the Mayor of Sandbach, Councillor Sam Corcoran, who was accompanied by the Mayor's Cadet, Panashe Chaduka.

Local volunteer organisation, Sandbach Clean Team, worked hard throughout the event and during the clean-up to keep the Park neat and tidy, too.

A Sandbach Town Council spokesperson said: "We hope that everyone had a fantastic time at Party in the Park 2026! We were delighted that the rain held off this year and that families could enjoy the brilliant live entertainment in such a beautiful setting.

"Thank you to everyone who worked hard to deliver the event this year, and especially our performers and the volunteer team who gave up their time."

The town council also thanked Sandbach Clean Team for keeping the area looking its best.
