Sandbach United Football Club's chairman urges fans to throw their weight behind the team's big match

Sandbach United Football Club's first team is in the play-off semi finals this weekend and the club's chairman is urging fans to show the Bach their support.
The club, based at Hind Heath Road, narrowly missed promotion last year when they reached the finals and on Saturday (April 19th) they need to win to be in this year's final.
Sandbach United play Stafford Town at Stafford at the weekend in the North West Counties play-off semi final.
Club chairman Simon Tillott said: "This is a chance to be promoted to step five football for the first time in our history.

"Our third play-off in as many years. Hoping to go All the way this year. We're trying to get as many fans to Stafford Town as possible to cheer the lads on."
Simon, who has played football all his life, is guiding Sandbach United on to its next chapter and hopes the first team will win on Saturday.

Originally from Manchester, Simon moved to the town to be nearer his job in Stoke-on-Trent and is now at the helm of the football club, whose website is here, where he has helped out as for the past 10 years or so, joining as a parent.
Saturday's game takes place at Evans Park, Fairway, Stafford ST16 3TL with a 3 pm kick-off. Sandbach United's link to their website story is here
