Sandbach woman thanks townsfolk who helped her raise more than £300 for Cancer Research

A Sandbach woman has heaped praise on townsfolk who helped her raise £325.90 for Cancer Reseearch UK at the weekend's transport festival.
Jo Samuels, 52, from Price Avenue staged the first part of her campaign to raise cash for cancer sufferers when she held a bake sale and tombola stall on Saturday. (April 26th).
Now she's stepping out on Cancer Research UK's 'Big Hike' event in Derbyshire on June 14th and hoping to raiose another £300 from this to reach her £600 total.
Jo approached local businesses to donate prizes which all paid off.

She said: "The people at the transport festival on Saturday were brilliant. It went very well. It ws hard work but worth it."
"Jo keeps fit by walking around five miles a day along the Salt Line and in Brereton getting ready for her 'Big Hike' event in June.
"My sister-in-law, my sister and step father have all had cancer. Cancer Research UK is still an important organisation."
