Sandbach Wakes was back in town this weekend and finishes tomorrow (Monday) night.

Deputy mayor, Councillor John Arnold, officially opened the event on Scotch Common on Friday (September 20th).

He and daughter Catherine (16) enjoyed a ride on the Waltzers after he had rung the bell after a tradition used in many other towns.

Joe White junior cut a ribbon between the railings of the Waltzers to officially launch the annual four-day event.
