Sandbach's indoor market has officially opened three new units

Sandbach's historic indoor market has opened three new units giving the market a new look.

The busy town centre venue, home to many businesses, now has a fresh fruit and vegetable until with Clem's Traditional Greengrocers which has moved inside.

Sugar Fairy has expanded into a new unit giving more space for its clothing for children and adults.

Sandbach Mayor, Councillor Laura Crane, officially cut the ribbon and opened the three new units, saying how good it was to see the market thriving and going from strength to strength.

All three traders said they were delighted to have their new units open.

Business Events Manager, Jayne Barber, said all units in the indoor market were now taken and there is a waiting list.

She said: "The indoor market has been going for so long and is such an important part of the community. It's wonderful to see it flourishing."
