Sandbach's award-winning Foden's brass band is celebrating - after winning the North West area title again!

It's the eighth year running that Foden's, whose roots lie in the town's legendary Foden truck company, has notched up the prestigious title.

The UK is split into various 'regions' and the top two placed bands at each regional contest are invited to represent their 'region' at the National Finals, held at the Royal Albert Hall London in October.

A spokesperson for the band said: "We're thrilled to be North West champions for the eighth year running!"
