Sandbach School brings West End production to the stage for local residents to see
A Sandbach school is putting on a show with a difference shortly – the famous Les Miserables.
Set in 19th century France, Les Misérables follows the life of Jean Valjean.
The ex-convict seeks redemption despite being hunted for decades by his rival and ex-guard Javert after breaking parole.

The story is famous for its West End productions but residents will be able to see the amazing show nearer to home at Sandbach School.
"After a pause in producing shows due to COVID, we're delighted to be performing Les Misérables," said Grace Barber, Curriculum Leader of Music
"We have been conducting rehearsals intensively twice a week since November.
"We're fortunate to have a number of talented girls and boys in our 6th form which has helped to drive the musical forward."
Mrs Barber says she hopes it "will inspire our future generations and establish a musical theatre in years to come".
Les Miserables takes place at Sandbach School's theatre space at 6.30 pm from 28th March – 30th March.
Tickets are from £5 and available from https://www.priorbooking.com/e/sandbach-school-les-miserables
