Fancy watching some live football? Sandbach United's first team are at home Telford Town with a 3 pm kick-off at Hind Heath Road. Support your local team!

Sandbach is paying homage to the famous Scottish poet this weekend. The events will celebrate the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, the author of many Scottish poems.
The Sandbach branch of the Royal British Legion is holding a Burns' Night dinner dance at the Masonic Hall with music and dancing provided by the Sandbach and District Caledonian Society. Tickets are £30 and details are on the image below.

Looking for some chilled live music? Sandbach's Jon Stevens is at The Lower Chequer at 8 pm. Show him your support!

St Peter's Church in Elworth has a Burns' Night supper with music. Take your own drink. The event features a two course traditional Scottish menu and tickets available from the church office at St Peter's Church Hall.

Sunday, 25 January
Do you have a child with additional needs or love singing and would like to attend something as a family? A new Makaton family choir is launching in Sandbach run by local Makaton tutor Charlotte Gibson-Fitzsimons.
'Sing, sign and shine' is featured in our What's On section here , and will run once a month starting on Sunday on 25 January from 3 pm until 4.30 pm and will include a refreshment break.
The cost is £12 per family payable via bank transfer or cash on the day. Email [email protected] with any queries and to book your space.

The Military Arms in Congleton Road has a Burns Nigh celebration on his actual birthday (25 January) with live music, traditional haggis, neeps and tatties with a wee dram to warm the soul! The fun takes place from 4 pm until 6 pm and the cost is £9.50 per person

At The Lion it's Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke at 7 pm.
