Friday, 30 January

It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am . As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some New Year bargains!

Fancy a few laughs? Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road has a comedy night raising funds for the under 16's age group. The event is fully seated and takes place in the heated marquee with the first act on at 8pm.

Three comedians - Mick Ferry ( Mirror, 'Legend' Jason Manford ), Paul Tonkinson ("Nobody makes me laugh like Paul" Michael McIntyre), Lovdev Barpaga and MC Rob Riley. Tickets are £15 and available here

Saturday, 31 January

Fancy a walk? Waywards Strolls is starting at Brereton Country Park at 9 am. A relaxed and welcoming community walk created for women—and the dogs are welcome too!

Whether you're coming solo or bringing your four-legged friend, this walk offers a supportive, easy going space to meet others, unwind, and move at a comfortable pace.

Sandbach Animal Rescue Society has it monthly event - first of the year with homemade soup, sandwiches and cakes.

Lunch and jumble event at the Sandbach Masonic Hall from 11.30 am until 2 pm.

Fancy watching some live football? Sandbach United's first team are at away to Wolverhampton Casuals with a 3 pm kick-off. Support your local team!

Sunday, 1 February

Are you into vinyl? It's the first Sandbach record fair of the year at Sandbach Town Hall. A full house of traders selling new and preloved vinyl records, CDs and memorabilia. Starts at 10 am.

At The Lion it's Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke at 7 pm.
