Friday, 9 January
Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some New Year bargains!

Do you enjoy whisky? There's a chance to try some of the finest malts from Scotland and the rest of the world at a Whisky tasting evening at Sandbach Golf Club.
Tickets here are priced £40 which includes 5 x 25 ml drams. There will also be a free to enter auction of rare and vintage whiskies. The event takes place from 7 pm until 11 pm at Sandbach Golf Club in Middlewich Road. Details about the event and Hyland Single Malts here .
Something entirely different - a presentation at the South East Cheshire Ornithological Society in Ettiley Heath. South East Cheshire Ornithological Society has its monthly meeting at Ettiley Heath Church Community Centre in Elton Road, Ettiley Heath. Curlews in the Landscape, a presentation by Andrew Brockbank takes place at 7.30 pm. Free for SECOS members. Visitors £5. New members always welcome.

Saturday, 10 January

Sandbach United's first team are away to New Mills with a 3 pm kick-off. Support your local team!
Fancy some live music? The Lion in Sandbach has Breezico from 9.15 pm playing a range of music.

Sunday, 11 January
At The Lion it's Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke at 7 pm.
