Friday, August 29th

Fancy a bit of bear hunting before the children go back to school? It's the last weekend of Brereton's annual Bear Festival. Full details here

At Sandbach Market Hall, it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

The Fox in Elworth has a charity weekend for #stampoutsuicide starting with a race night and raffle.

Saturday, August 30th

It's the monthly Armed Forces and Veterans breakfast club at the Military Arms in Congleton Road. Go along for a hearty breakfast and banter. Contact the Military Arms to book breakfast. Starts at 9 am and breakfast served around 9.30 am.

Fancy some football? Sandbach United are at home to Wolverhampton SC with a 3 pm kick-off at Hind Heath Road.

The Lion in Sandbach has Future Ghost playing from 9 pm.

The Fox Inn in Elworth has a family funday with alpacas, donkeys, magicians, arts and crafts and a bouncy castle plus Jacob Forbes playing a live acoustic set in the evening - all for charity, the SOS.
