Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Thursday, October 2nd

The Saxon Players begin their run of their latest production, "Nothing But The Truth" at Sandbach Masonic Hall. Prosecution begin their case at 7.30pm prompt and end about 9pm. After a 20 minute break the case for the Defence will begin. Whatever the verdict we expect to be done by around 10.30 pm. Limited tickets available at www.saxonplayers.com

Friday, October 3rd

At Sandbach Market Hall, it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

At Sandbach Golf Course, there's a fundraising charity quiz and raffle in aid of Seashell. Winning team gets a £100 meal voucher for four people. Raffle prizes include vouchers for boutiques, butchers, jewellery shops in Sandbach area plus lots more.

All funds raised go to Seashell Trust which provides specialist care and support for children and young adults with disabilities and complex needs.

The Saxon Players are on stage again with "Nothing But The Truth" At Sandbach Masonic Hall. at 7.30pm. Tickets available at www.saxonplayers.com

Saturday, October 4th

It's Rode Hall's autumn farmers'market packed with stalls and artisan goods on sale. Over 70 artisan, food and craft stalls inside the barns and outdoor with live entertainment outside the hall in Scholar Green.

Rode sausage stall and courtyard kitchen are open selling homemade cakes and lunches. It's on from 9 am until 1.30 pm.

Sunday, October 5th

At The Lion it's Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke at 7 pm.
