We have gone through and picked out a few events but if we've missed anything, please let us know!
Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in and around Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
Thursday, 27 August
Do you have children and fancy some summer fun? Castaway Play in Astbury has a fantastic offer - a summer pass valid until 1 September. You can use it as many times as you like between until 1 September and use code 'NUBNEWS' for 10 per cent off. More details here

Castaway Play also has Summer 'SEN Foam Sessions' - the next ones are on Wednesday, 12 August and 30 August. More details here .
Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.
They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 28 August
It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

Saturday, 29 August
There's football at Sandbach United in Hind Heath Road when has a match with the first team playing Widness Town FC with a 3 pm kick-off. Go along and support your local team!

Sunday, 30 August
The Swan and Chequers has a jazz festival from 5 pm. Part of the Jazz Festival programme, Gwilym Simcock and Nick Smart will be joined by Simon Jermyn (guitar), Laurence Cottle (electric bass) and Sandbach's own Josh Savage (drums).
All five are renowned bandleaders in their own right, making this a special collaboration and a rare opportunity to hear these outstanding musicians perform together.
