Thursday, 20 August

Do you have children and fancy some summer fun? Castaway Play in Astbury has a fantastic offer - a summer pass valid until 1 September. You can use it as many times as you like between until 1 September and use code 'NUBNEWS' for 10 per cent off. More details here

Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.

They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 21 August

It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

Saturday, 22 August

Fancy doing Pilates followed by a game of padel? Saffron Amber is combining Pilates and Padel for the ultimate 90-minute session. A full-body Pilates session suitable for all levels, whether you're a complete beginner or already love Pilates, Saffron will guide you through the session.

Then it's time to pick up a racket and hit the courts. The padel session is also suitable for all levels, with plenty of fun, games and a chance to get involved.

The event takes place at The Padel Den at Elworth Cricket Club in London Road from 11 am until 12:30pm and costs just £20. Sign up here

The Premier League kicks off this weekend and Sandbach United in Hind Heath Road has a match with the first team playing Wolves Casuals FC with a 3 pm kick-off. Go along and support your local team!
