A Sandbach couple who opened a blinds and furnishing business in the centre of the town have expanded again – just months after opening.

Tracy Brooks and Gary Gilks opened the stylish Bespoke Blinds & Furnishings showroom in the town centre in Hightown in February.

Now the enterprising couple, who became became a supplier in the area for Velux blinds in April, now have a new product to their offering - lantern roof blinds. Their website is here

"Lantern roof blinds are becoming more and more popular," said Gary who is a trained engineer and skillfully fits the blinds.

"They're electronically controlled with solar energy and easy to use and extremely effective and practical.

"We're using a company based on Preston, 'Sona', whose blinds are second-to-none. They are controlled by a remote and so easy to use.

"Lantern roofs are high so you need a blind which is easy and effective to use which can be opened all the way, part of the way or fully closed.

"The choice is yours as all you do is press the control to move the blind. The blinds are made to the highest quality and look magnificent."

Tracy and Gary offer a full service for all the products they sell – from measuring to supplying and installing.

"Gary is an engineer by trade and is enjoying fitting these lantern blinds which are growing in popularity.

"So many homeowners are choosing to have lantern roofs in kitchens, dining rooms and even bedrooms.

"We've got the perfect solution to dress them and ensure light coming into the room is exactly as you want it.

"Just give us a call and see what we can do for you."
