A Sandbach couple have opened the window on a whole new world for homeowners and others after launching a new business in the town.

Tracy Brooks and Gary Gilks have opened the stylish Bespoke Blinds & Furnishings showroom in the town centre in Hightown.

And the couple has chosen the run up to Spring to launch as it's traditionally a time when people think about moving or making improvements.

The business sells stylish made-to-measure blinds and matching furnishings - all tailored to the customer's needs and budget.

And they say their products are not only aimed at those moving home - they are also great for anyone wanting a fresh, new look for their home or office.

"Window dressings can totally change a room and give it a different look, depending on light and window shapes." said Gary.

"We offer a fitting service and advice on the not only the best design but also the best colour match for a window.

"We offer all sorts of blinds, even temporary ones to put up while you're choosing new furniture or making decisions following a move."

Between them, they have 25 years' of experience in the industry and not only supply the window dressings and furnishings they also fit them.

Tracy who set up a similar business in Mold, Wales which she still owns, was looking for a premises to open in Sandbach where the couple now live.

"We've spent quite a while looking for suitable premises in Sandbach and this former opticians shop came up," said Gary.

"It's the perfect location and we're delighted with the shop. It offers everything we need to display products and help customers make the right choice."

Stepping inside Bespoke Blinds & Furnishings' showroom is like stepping inside a cosy, stylish home featured in one of the glossy interior magazines.

There are examples of stunning blinds and curtains plus a full range of colour swatches - perfect for customers looking for ideas and inspiration and matching colours.

"We offer everything from Venetian, vertical, roller, Roman blinds and shutters to curtain poles, curtains and matching cushions and lamp shades and even replacement parts and components." said Gary.

Gary, a trained engineer, will go out and fit blinds and curtains should customers require this service.

"It's so important to get the right fit and look. You can really transform a room from the inside and outside with the right window dressing," he said.
