Christmas and New Year are fast approaching and Sandbach's historic Swan and Chequers has a great line-up of events to dip into.

The Swan & Chequers has built up an envious reputation during the year as the 'go to' place for live music, particularly jazz, but it's also renowned for other music too.

So when it comes to events and parties you can be guaranteed to have a brilliant time – and dance the night away!

Planning an office party or family get together? Get your party booked on to the Swan & Chequers' party night on Saturday, December 14th.

A great Christmas celebration, it will feature live party band, Montage plus a buffet and a welcome Mimosa cocktail. Tickets are just £15 each.

Christmas is all about children and the Swan & Chequers' 'Breakfast with Santa' is on every weekend through December. Pre-booking is required.

Music is a firm favourite at the Swan & Chequers and December kicks off with John's Bebop Band – a five-piece jazz band.

On Tuesday, December 3rd, it's the monthly jazz jam which Nub News featured here hosted by Rob Cope.

On Saturday, December 7th, Ellis Davies is on guitar while Saturday December 21st it's local live acoustic duo, Harmony Junction.

On Monday, December 23rd, it's a Christmas Jazz Extravaganza with the internationally famous Andy Scott and a big live jazz band spectacular.

Christmas Eve there's Karaoke while New Year's Eve there's Razzy B's New Year's Eve house party with a late night DJ.
