Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Thursday, October 24th

It's the Swan & Chequers' 'Cheese and Wine' night from 7pm. Six new wines and six delicious cheeses in conjunction with the town's famous deli, Godfrey C Williams & Son in Market Square. Tickets are £30 per person.

Friday, October 25th

Do you have a baby and would like to socialise? Baby Brunch is the perfect opportunity for parents to relax, socialise, and enjoy some delicious food together. It takes place from 9.30 am until 11.30 am and tickets can be booked here

In the evening, the Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'.

Elworth Methodist Church has the start of a five-day display in arts and crafts - 'Beatrix Potter meets Roald Dahl'. The event starts with a special meal at 7 pm and continues until Tuesday (October 29th).

Saturday, October 26th

It's Sandbach's Armed Forces & Veterans monthly breakfast club at The Military Arms from 9 am. Meanwhile Elworth Methodist Church's Beatrix Potter event is on from 11 am until 3 pm.

Motorbikers from the Royal British Legion's Bikers branch will ride into Sandbach at 2.45 pm to launch the town's annual Poppy Appeal.

Some of the riders are ex-service personnel but many more just want to support the Royal British Legion through the Riders Branch at the War Memorial.

The event takes place at Sandbach War Memorial at 2.45 pm on Saturday (October 26th).

Meanwhile Sandbach Partnership has its big event for children - Spooky Saturday! A free fun event from 3 pm until 6 pm on The Cobbles and St Mary's Church Hall. Fancy dress competition, slime station and face painting. Don't miss out!

The Swan & Chequers has offers on Fridays and Saturdays. Saturdays there's four shots for £10, cask ale £3.50, cocktail of the week £7 or two for £11. Don't miss out!

Sunday, October 27th

Elworth Methodist Church's Beatrix Potter event is on from 11 am until 3 pm. Go and immerse yourself in the world of Roald Dahl.
