Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, January 24th

It's the Friday market indoors at Sandbach Market 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look round a variety of stalls.

The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'. A chance to get out of the cold and warm up with some tasty food.

Saturday, January 25th

The Old Hall has its monthly charity dog walk. Meet at the Old Hall at 10 am for a cuppa and bacon butty before heading out on the route at around 10.30 am. The walk is around 3.5 miles across open fields and footpaths. Donations to local charity, Sandbach Animal Rescue.

Meanwhile the Military Arms has the Sandbach Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club starting at 9am with breakfast available from 9.30am.

At the Church on Ettiley Heath in Sandbach has its monthly breakfast club in Elton Road, Ettiley Heath from 10 am until 12 noon. Their Facebook page is here

Sandbach Market Hall has stalls from 9 am until 3 pm if you fancy looking around an indoor market.

Councillor Nicola Cook, Elworth councillor on Cheshire East, has her monthly surgery at St Peter's Community Hall in Elworth from 10am until 12 noon.

In the evening, the Military Arms has a Burns Night from 5 pm until 7 pm with Haggis, neeps, tattties and live music from Morrigan's Bow.
