Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, August 9th

The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has something different - an outdoor cinema! Remember the film Grease? There's a chance to watch this classic under the stars outside at the Swan & Chequers starting at 9 pm.

It's also the Swan & Chequers' happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'.

Saturday, August 10th

It's Sandbach Makers Market in the Market Square from 10 am until 3 pm and a chance to snap up some treats and handmade goodies. There's also a free children's crafting station and live music. Don't miss it - chance to see the town at its best!

It's the final weekend of Sandbach Garden Trail, Facebook page here Dust off your gardening shoes again and head down to Sandbach Allotment Society which will be open August 10th and August 11th from 2 pm until 5 pm. Fancy a bit of locally grown veg? There will be plenty on offer!

Sandbach United are away to Winsford United with a 3 pm kick-off. Good luck the Bach!

Sunday, August 11th

It's Sandbach 10K hosted by the Sandbach Striders running club. The off-road course starts and finishes from Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road where you can go along and watch runners start and finish. There's plenty to see at this well-organised event.
