Around 240 people in Sandbach were treated to a free Christmas lunch and a Christmas card thanks to a donations from local food retailers and hardwork from a team of volunteers drivers and helpers.
Every year, Sandbach Rugby Union Football Club in Bradwall Road churns out a full Christmas meal and dessert for a list of people.

And this year some were also treated to a Christmas tune, "We wish you a Merry Christmas" by Sanbdbach mayor as they opened their door to find Councillor John Arnold on their doorstep.
"I've delivered with this event for the last few years," said Cllr Arnold. "I've been knocking on doors today and making sure we were singing.

"There's a tremendous feeling of gratitude and a feeling that these people are really part of the community.
"It makes them feel loved and it's such a great thing for the town of Sandbach."
