New artwork dedicated to world-renowned artist and local icon, Harry Styles, is to be unveiled at Holmes Chapel station on Saturday (March 1st).

And it will be an extra special occasion for Sandbach resident, Victoria Holland, for the talented artist, whose work featureson shop windows around the area as we revealed here .

For Victoria and fellow artist, Eamonn Murphy have worked on the artwork, which aims to provide a welcome impression when set the scene for locals who travel regularly and the many visitors from across the globe stepping off the train to see the village where Harry grew up.

The artwork was funded by a grant from the Cross Rail Community Engagement Fund, as a result of Community Rail group successful application, together with a contribution from the recently closed HC3 Community Cinema.

Eamon Murphy is known for his previous work on stations along the Crewe to Manchester line, and Victoria Holland, a talented mural artist, has created other eye-catching murals including one at Sandbach station in Elworth.

The unveiling of the artwork will also marks the return of Holmes Chapel Partnership's 'Harry's Home Village Tour' in April, following its success in 2024, when it attracted hundreds of fans from across the globe.

The tours, which we revealed here have played a vital role in boosting the local community, and the new artwork serves to further celebrate Harry Styles' deep connection to the village where he grew up.

Harry's Home Village Tour restarts with two early bird opportunities on 12th and 19th April 2025. From 2 May, weekly tours will be running every Fridays and Saturday. Tickets will be released for sale this weekend.
