The wait is over - owners of The Wheatsheaf announce what they are doing next door!

Owners of Sandbach's Wheatsheaf have unveiled their plans for the building next door - the old NatWest Bank - which they bought more than a year ago.
The Pear Hospitality Group say they are turning part of the building into another Radley & Co - like the one at Lion & Swan in nearby Congleton - and it will open in early 2026.
They said on Social Media: "Think live music, live sports, and social gaming all under one roof — from big match days and open mic nights to games with friends over great drinks.
"This will be the second Radley & Co from the team at Pear Hospitality Group, following the incredible response to our first venue in Congleton.

"Expect a vibrant atmosphere, a carefully curated drinks list and a space designed to bring people together.
"Whether you're catching the game on a massive screen, watching the area's best musicians, or challenging your mates to a round of darts or shuffleboard, Radley & Co Sandbach will be the place to be."
NatWest in Hightown closed in February 2022 and since then it has been empty.
Pear Hospitality, who own The Blue Bell at Smallwood as well as Pecks and the Lion & Swan in Congleton, said the landmark building marked "a significant expansion" for the group.
"The Wheatsheaf has long been a cherished destination within The Pear Hospitality Group, and the strategic purchase of the neighbouring property is poised to enhance the overall experience for our guests," managing director, Jake Pear, said previously.

"We are thrilled about the acquisition of the former Natwest Bank, a property with immense potential that perfectly complements our existing gem, The Wheatsheaf.
"This expansion allows us to further enhance the overall experience for our guests, and we are particularly excited about the possibilities for the ground floor."
