Calling all coffee lovers – get yourself along to a fundraising event on Friday (September 20th) raising money for Macmillan.

Sandbach United Football Club's chairman's wife, Judith Colclough, who's beaten breast cancer four times, is once again holding her bumper event for a charity close to her heart.

Macmillan have been there for June through her four cancer diagnoses over the past 18 years and she's eager to give back as much as they have given her.

This year's 'Jude's Coffee Morning' takes place as usual at the CrossBar at Sandbach United's base in Hind Heath Road from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm and she's inviting everyone to attend. Donations can be made here

Judith said: "As they are 98% funded by voluntary donations, contributions are essential to ensure they can provide practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer when they need it.

"Right now, there are more than three million people in the UK living with cancer.

"Donations from coffee mornings make a vital difference, helping Macmillan continue their services so people can find their best way through, from the moment they're diagnosed, through treatment and beyond.

"We have outdoor seating if the weather is kind, cosy and warm inside seating if we're not so lucky.Last year we gathered outside in the sunshine and managed to raise a whopping £1163 for this amazing charity!"

Judith added: "I have personally been supporting Macmillan Cancer Support since my first Cancer diagnosis in 2006. Since then I have had three more separate diagnoses and have met so many people with their own personal stories to tell.

"This year we have entertainment whilst you sip and chat. A local duo will be singing easy listening tunes so there will be a great atmosphere. Let's see if we can top £1000 again.... Challenge on!

"Would be lovely to see you but if you can't make it but would like to donate, please click on my just giving page link below."
