A town centre building which used to house a hairdressers then an insurance brokers is up for auction for with a guide price of £350,000.

The retail unit is in Congleton Road/ Green Street across the road from the Small Common and Morrisons.

It is listed with estate agency, Meller Braggins, who say it will be sold by auction on October 9th/10th - unless sold prior to this.

They say: "The premises have in recent years been used as a hairdressers and insurance brokers to the ground floor whilst the first floor has a large number of offices with all the building served by several kitchens and WC facilities.

"As well as access from the ground floor, the first floor has separate access from Green Street, allowing this to be totally self -contained from the ground floor if required.

"Also accessed from Green Street is a garage and there is also a cellar under part of the building (not inspected)

"With over 5,500 square feet of accommodation, the premises provide a rare opportunity to acquire a building which could be configured to suit an individual needs be it retail units, offices/serviced offices or potentially residential accommodation (subject to planning permission)."
