Two fire engines went to a blaze in a shipping container alight near Sandbach

One fire engine from Alsager and another fire engine went to a shipping container on fire in Vicarage Lane, Betchton near Sandbach.
The incident happened at 10.58 am yesterday (Tuesday).
A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"They then cut away parts of the container and used onsite machinery to expose remaining hotspots. A thermal imaging camera was used throughout to monitor temperatures and ensure the fire was fully out."
