Two men who were arrested after a car was deliberately driven into a house in Middlewich on Christmas Eve have been released on bail.

Police attended an incident at 11.45 pm on Christmas Eve in Hulme Square. 

A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing. Two men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage with intent to endanger life. They are on bail."

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML2240046.
