UP CLOSE: Meet the Sandbach woman who is making a clean sweep with her fast-expanding team

By Deborah Bowyer 23rd May 2022

A Sandbach mum who started her own cleaning company four years ago has made a clean sweep and moved to bigger premises for her growing business.

Heidi Weaver, who runs Heidi's Tip Top Shine, was based on the Moston Rd industrial estate in Ettiley Heath but the fast-growing business outgrew the premises.

Now Heidi and her amazing team have moved to St George's House, Dragons Wharf in Dragon's Lane, Sandbach.

She said: "It's just been a real whirlwind. We're so busy. I can't recruit fast enough. The business has really taken off."

The 46-year-old mum-of-four started the business to fit around looking after her two younger children, Aurelia and Jessica after giving up a job in the care sector.

Originally the enterprising businesswoman, who just loves cleaning, picked up her mop and bucket and was just cleaning for her neighbours.

But her attention to detail and her sparkling, clean talents soon got noticed and the business grew and grew.

Now four years later, she is the master of her own destiny and has taken her trademark pink colour – her favourite colour – and the business's amazing skills to higher levels.

"It's gone incredibly well. It's hard to believe some days but I am so proud of my amazing team and all they achieve.

"We employ 16 but can't recruit fast enough. It's going so well."

Heidi, who lives in Wheelock, also ensures she gives back to the community and town she loves.

She noticed the toilets in Sandbach Park needed a bit of a makeover while taking her children Aurelia and Jessica there after school to play in the play area

The big-hearted business owner's company has been providing a free of charge service to the toilets since the 21st of September, when they performed their initial deep clean.

Not only that, Heidi has come up with a special promotion to celebrate her fourth year of opening.

Heidi's Tip Top Shine is giving away two two hour free cleans to people in need of some help or a pick-me-up to celebrate four years of the business opening on June 24th.

"We're looking for nominations of people who really need some help or a little pick-me-up with a free clean. It's our way of giving something back and thanking the town for its support.

"We're just asking people to get in touch with us and nominate two names for our two free cleans."
