Walkers in Dingle Wood, Sandbach can now cross a brook safely - thanks to work by Sandbach Woodland and Wildlife Group (SWWG).

A handrail had been vandalised and thrown into the brook so members of the group, a volunteer conservation group founded which protects, restores, and enhances spaces around Sandbach, set to work.

They replaced the handrail yesterday (Sunday) so the wood can be safely accessed by walkers.
