It's a fun weekend in Sandbach and of course it's the FA Cup Final. There's a maker's market, the rugby club ball, live music and a war memorial re-dedication service.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, May 14th    

Fancy a cooked breakfast? Elworth Methodist Church has their monthly 'Big Breakfast' from 8.30 am – 11 am in Station Road, Elworth 

In the town centre, eats, beats, treats and weekend vibes will be on The Cobbles with Sandbach Makers Market featuring a host of stalls and crafts to sample and buy. The fun starts at 10 am and continues until 3pm. 

It's FA Cup Final day with Chelsea v Liverpool. Sandbach United Football Club's 'Cross Bar is selling pints at £2.50 each until the first goal is scored.

 

Saturday evening sees the annual Sandbach RUFC Ball at the Bradwall Road site.

Meanwhile, The Military Arms has live folk music with Steve McGuire from 8.30pm.

Sunday, May 8th

New Horizons in Wheelock, part of United Methodist Church, has a family breakfast from 9.30 am with food, song, Bible story and craft.

For those wanting to keep fit, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

In the afternoon, Elworth War Memorial will be holding it's a rededication service at 3pm 102 years after it was first unveiled (16 May 1920). Members of Foden's Band will be there to play the hymns.
