Sandbach United hosts a sportsman's dinner featuring none other than ex Liverpool, Tottenham and England defender Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and comedian Austin Night. Sponsored by Crown Bank Dental in Sandbach, the event takes place at Crewe Alexandra Football Club. Tickets are available to purchase from The CrossBar at Sandbach United priced at £49.95 and tables of 10 or sponsored tables available. At Sandbach Town Hall, the Comedy Hotspot is on with doors opening at 7pm. The show starts at 8pm with a line-up of top comics. Tickets are £13 in advance or £15 on the door. More information at www.comedyspot.co.uk At the Military Arms in Congleton Road, Sandbach the duo, JMD, are live from 7:30pm. Saturday March 5th Spring is in the air at Rode Hall at Scholar's Green near Sandbach where a Farmer's Market takes place between 9 am and 1.30 pm The Courtyard kitchen will be open serving homemade cakes, soups, sausage and bacon baps, tea and coffee plus dozens of stalls Sunday, March 6th If running is your passion, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road. They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed. More details are on their website which can be accessed by clicking here
