A record fair, top-class rugby and football and the town's historic church filled with the sound of a Fairport Convention member and his band …. what a fantastic weekend ahead.

And the fun starts tomorrow (Friday) when our wonderful town will be lit up and looking pretty for the late-night shopping event.

here.and press the black 'Nub It' button to get started. Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Saturday December 4th Fancy a warming coffee to get the weekend underway? Sandbach has an amazing choice of coffee shops. Unity Church at the Church Hall, Wesley Avenue has its weekly coffee morning from 10 am until 12 noon. Sandbach United Football Club take on West Didsbury and Chorlton at 3pm who are top of the league. Sandbach Rugby Club's 1st and 2nd XV are away but the 2nd XV take on Preston Grasshoppers. Sunday December 5th There's a chance to pick up some vinyl at the fifth birthday of the Record Fair which takes place at Sandbach Market Hall. In the evening Fairport Convention's Chris Leslie with multi-award winning duo Chris While and Julie Matthews, a trio called St Agnes Fountain play a concert at St Mary's Church.
