Performances by the world famous Foden's Band to The Snowman, carols by candlelight and a performance by a Gary Barlow tribute act are just some of the things happening in Sandbach this weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Sunday December 18th Unity Church at the Church Hall, Wesley Avenue have their weekly coffee morning from 10 am until 12 noon. Meanwhile Foden's Band stage four shows to The Snowman each lasting around 40 minutes at Sandbach School Theatre in Crewe Road. The shows start at 10.15am, 11.45 am, 1.15pm and 2.45 pm and some shows are already sold out. Tickets are priced £11 Adults, £7 Children (aged 3 – 17) and free for under 3's (as long as they sit on a parent's knee). Wetherspoon's The George pub in Sandbach celebrates its eighth birthday – eight years since the town's first Wetherspoons opened. Sunday December 19th Party with the Stars brings the Gary Barlow/Take That Live Tribute by Jon Fisher to Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road. Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 8pm. Tickets are £22.25 with food and £16.75 without food. St Mary's Church in Sandbach has Nine Lessons and Carols by Candlelight at 6.30pm.
