Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Saturday February 12th It's been a while but the popular Sandbach Maker's Market is back from 10 am until 3pm on the Market Square (The Cobbles). An abundance of stalls showcasing sellers and products from all over the North West will converge on Sandbach. You will find everything from crafts to food and drink on sale with the market spreading out in front of DV8 and other areas. If rugby is more your scene, Sandbach RUFC 1st XV are at Bradwall Road with a 2.15pm kick-off against Paviors in a 2.15 pm kick-off. Church 4 All on Ettiley Heath has a Forest Church celebrating Candlemas celebration with fire pits, apples, marshmallows and candle making! The event starts at 6pm and tickets need to be bought through here. St Mary's Church in Sandbach has another quiz night this time in aid of Sandbach Choral Society. The event starts at 7pm, tickets cost £10 (including a fish and chip supper) Contact Jayne Bunn by email – [email protected] Sunday, February 13th If running is your passion, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road. They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed. More details are on their website which can be accessed by clicking here
